I think it's assheaded for someone who don't know the history and actuality of Tibet to support The 14th Dalai Lama who tries to break up China. They even don't know whether Tibet lies in the west or east of China, they are fooled by some western groups that stand in the inverse of Chian.
It is Chinese government that gets the old Tibet out of the slavery.
But some stupid westerners don't see the truth.

Yanceder, how would you respond to the reports in the western media of brutality and in some cases murder of Tibetans by the Chinese police? Are these allegations all made up? Please share your prospective.

By the way they are the Tibetans who lost their lives not westerner, they are the Tibetans who suffer discriminatio, supresson and deprivation not the westerner..they are the Tibetans who are shouting for want of Human rights not westerners.

My last requset for you to be more civilized in choosing your words. I too can come down to your level and shower you with tonnes of filthiest porvocative words..but by doing so it clears the difference between you and me...good and bad, merit and sin....right and wrong...I will try not to shed off my moral and ethical values my ancestors passed onto me through thick and thin of brutal CCP's rule.

the political reality was, the "dalai lama" was an official title recognized within the yuan empire.

therefore, the dalai lama is a religious title by appointment of the successive governments in china.

Why didn't they give chinese word had it been politically so important.
But as far as I know it was only during Third Dalai Lama that the Mongolian King Altan Khan happened to mistook second name for HH surname and translated Gyatso as Dalai!!! and confered an extended title Dalai Lama Vajradhara.

What matter here the most are his messages of compassion, compromise and peace. Unfortunately we are too much into ignoring them.them!!!

exactly what i meant.
despite the initial mistook, "dalai lama" became fixed as a religious title in the mongolian empire.

successive central governments inherited an already existing institution, so there is no necessity to change.

tibetans don't even bother to change this mongolian title, because it is conferred by the central government.

why do you think the dalai lama signed the appointment papers in 1940?

i fully agree with you.
china is doing all it can for the well being of all nationalities in china, tibetan included.

but i don't know if we can stop kushh or anyone from discussing the dalai lama.
