tibet people's average age was 30 in dalai's black gov. But now it is more than 60..... isn't it a human environment?

This includes limiting their freedoms, jailing them harshly, and not allowing human rights violations to be aired or viewed. In fact most westerns see China as having a poor record on human rights since the tiananmen square protests crackdown of 1989. I think it would be intersting if you could share your thoughts on this perception.

I lived in China for more than 20 years, also I have been to tibet twice. when I was born, things happened in tiananmen square had became the past.

Seeing is beliving. U have no right to talk about human right in china if u just see something on your "liar" news meida.

Jeffreymeng - Tiananmen Square was only 19 years ago. Do you agree that during those protests China struck back with violent force?
If your media is controlled by the state, don't you think that colors their ability to report information to the people? Western media is far from perfect, but its not under the control of any government.

I am happy to know that you have faith in something. May your religion make your heart softer especially in dealing with issues concerning Tibet.

I am nothing against Chinese. If you have observed carefully, as far as possible I used CCP to address my grevience.

i want to be friendly with chinese. I know that Chinese themselves are also the victims of cultural revolution. I was even worried to hear about the train accident which claimed app.70 live in china. In my heart of heart I prayed for them. Your pain can't be and shouldn't be the cause of my joy.and vice versa I hope.

I was even moved when I heard that 200 chinese advocates volunteered to fight the case for the arrested protestors in Tibet .This is beacon of hope for the two races to co-exist amicabily. but politics always comes inbetween and we are helpless..

I wish every body hold humanity above all.

You must know that from Chinese Yuan Dynasty (the rule of ethnic of Mongolia), China has established relative firm rule in Tibet. And then Ming Dynasty. And then Qing Dynasty.

The only interval is the time of Republic of China (1911-1949). And during that time Dalai grasped the power (and even weakened status of Panchen). Then CCP get it back to China.

Every country in the world formally admit this, and every countries' government admit Tibet is one part of China.

If Tibet really win independence, the situation of future Tibet will only be worse than today's P.R Mongolia (or say 'outside Mongolia', to be distinguished by 'inner Mongolia' in China). At least P.R Mongolia's natural environment is not as harsh as Tibet high plateau.

Tiananmen Square should be studied carefully, there are lot of true stories waiting to be discovered more than we can imagine.
I think China will promote the democratic process faster and faster.

Chinese media are controled by CCP, in which the regional media are controled by regional government. But still there many media and great journalists who are brave enough to report the truth. Even that will cause them prisoned or closed-off. Let alone there are independent media like "phoenix". And lot of regional media won't be controled all the time, always they got their own voice being heard, like Nanfangdaily in Guangdong.
But I think there is more possitive factors in our generation. It's new era of 21th century with internet and "new media'. After 1997, the HongKong's handover, we can at least enjoy more objective media both paper and TV from Hongkong and Taiwan in coastal provinces and big cities . Let alone we can touch more and more west mainstream media like BBC, CBS, NHK, REUTERS, Bloomberg now by internet and TV . Although it's always limited in the educated middle-class .
It's far from perfect, but it's still a applausive progress especially considering chinese just recovered from the Culture Revolution in 30 years.

Unfortunately, lot of the western media do actually choose their stand automatically in reprot. And more unfortunatly, not like chinese , suffered from culture revolution, who has been totally treat as fools and then doubt everything reported by any media , meanwhile the west people in some developed countries like USA and of European seems be used to believe the media since they think their media objective naturally . And the same time , drived by commercial interest and with some maybe superiority complex , the truth has always been distorted in an cavalier way.
Why do not know something about chinese minority policy and the "colour revolution"-role American government played in Tiananmen Square first ?
