Angry parents whose children were killed in an earthquake-stricken school shouted "Oh, my child!" and "Tell us something!" when police forcefully removed them from a protest outside a courthouse. The police action was the clearest signal yet that authorities are hardening their stance against the impromptu displays of public anger over the collapsed schools that killed thousands of children.

Sorry I have not mach time to write in here these days.
This report is really misleading, None of us will allow government cover anything in this event, and I think the governent's attitude never change that they will find out the reasons and punish the corrupted offcials. But as the information I got the collapse was not only caused by "Jerry-build Project", There is a lot of stupid mistakes and system-fault in the whole process in design, duilding and checking. More understanding and less hostility.
About the parents, the Pearl TV has a following report, I think they will be treat well and they also should calm down first to give more time to government, let government give us some satisfied answers later. Over-sad will hurt their healthy. The alives should keep to live well.
The tragedy won't happen in China again.
More understanding and less hostility, please.
it's funny how the western exaggerates a photo, and how they treat china. for example,
- whatever happens, just blame it squarely on the chinese leadership.
- when people gather, they are protesting.
- when chinese policemen arrive, the people are in big trouble.
i don't think there was any wrong to encourage people to go home.
people who lost loved ones are angry, but it is not as though they blamed everything directly on the govt.
when people gather, it doesn't mean they are holding an anti-govt protest that would bring down the govt.
they gather to display their grief in the hope that it moves the govt to pay attention on unscrupulous construction practices, and punish those responsible.
should the US govt be blamed for new york's crane collapse?
but one thing is for sure, the chinese leadership's response to disaster in sichuan is way swifter than response to hurricane katrina in new orleans.

U DON'T KNOW THE TRUTH~
