If the military government in Burma doesn't want help, let them figure it out on their own. Or better yet, perhaps they would prefer to consult with humanitarian relief agencies in Thailand, North Korea or China. These countries seem to be more in tune with the way relief efforts are orchestrated in order to legitimize illegitimate regimes.

I'm deeply saddened by the impact that this cyclone had on the citizens of Burma, but until they start demanding more from their government, all hope is lost.

For the citizens of India and China, if you're so ready to 'lead' the 21st century, please step up to the needs of your neighbor and stop waiting for the U.N., Europe and the United States to clean up this mess. Nothing is more irritating then listening to your political leaders and intellectuals claim that you have arrived on the global scene, but the scents of Tandorii and Szechuan Chicken are nowhere to be found at this time of crisis in Burma.

Anyone can run a flame up a hill, it takes a real world citizen to carry the torch.
